9. Look Good, Feel Better

These lovely ladies absolutely rock!  This is a two-hour beauty workshop offered to women battling cancer in over 100 cancer centres and hospitals across Canada. I was totally skeptical, having never been a real girly girl. (In fact, my three daughters have been known to remind me that teal eye pencil was "kind of a nineties thing".) But I gave it a whirl and it was fabulous! Excellent tips on wigs, scarves and applying makeup (I think of it as armour and camouflage as I am a god-damned warrior) plus a kit with over $400 in free makeup, lotions and potions. I said......FOUR.....HUNDRED.....DOLLARS.....OF..... FREE.....STUFF!!!  Start the car!!!!! For a workshop near you, see lgfb.ca.
