8. Food for the Belly

Once you get a diagnosis and treatment schedule, friends are amazing help providers - especially when it comes to food. But these things can go on literally for months or, in my case, for over a year. So best to be prepared for a little self sufficiency and create some excitement on your table. My best recommendation here is Chef's PlateI can't say enough about this service!! We order three dinners a week for the two of us at a cost of $60.00 a week and the food is stellar!! It comes in easy-to-prepare packages with meals like Chicken Parmesan, Turkey Sausage Orecchiette and South Indian Fish Curry.
