My Top Ten Chemo Kit

Chemo's a bitch. It can make you nauseous, tired, hairless, achy and itchy. It can give you mouth lesions, decrepit nails, dry, cracked skin and pains in places you never dreamt of. It's a treatment and even a potential cure for cancer but it's still an unforgiving, intrusive bitch. With the help of four research queens--my three wonderful daughters and my lovely daughter-in-law--I was able to take that bitch down a peg or two. The following are my top ten unsolicited and unendorsed recommendations to help you or a friend manage chemo. With 1 in 2 Canadians being diagnosed with cancer in their lifetimes, you may want to bookmark this. You may never need this, but you're sure to come across someone who will.
